Entering Saṃskṛtam: The First Step to Communicating with the Gods

This course is Adi Suyash’s attempt to make Sanskrit simple, approachable, and accessible to all. It is the first offering of its kind at the absolute beginner level, intended especially for those who have no prior knowledge of the language. The course has been designed according to the way Adi Suyash himself learned Sanskrit, not through formal institutional training, but through the practical effort of directly engaging with scriptural verses. That same experiential approach forms the foundation of this program.

For anyone who truly wishes to progress within the tradition, enrolling in this course is of great importance. In ancient centers of learning such as Nālandā, entry was not even granted to those who could not communicate in Saṃskṛtam. Svacchanda Śilā, in consideration of the times we live in, is not so strict; yet it strongly recommends that students undertake this study if possible, for the knowledge of Sanskrit will prove invaluable in the long run.
